裸小鼠胸腺残遗器官、脾、淋巴结和皮肤在发育过程中形态学和组织化学的观察

【摘要】 <正> 裸小鼠又名无毛小鼠或无胸腺小鼠,一般都称为裸小鼠(nude mice)。1966年Fla-nagan首次描述了裸小鼠的起源及其特征。1968年,Pantelouris发现裸小鼠缺乏胸腺,它是一种先天性胸腺缺陷的变异种。不少作者相继研究了裸小鼠胸腺区域的组织学结构Wortis et al.(1971)、Halub et al.(1975)和超微结构Cordier(1974)。为了了解裸小鼠胸腺残遗器官在动物发育过程中的变化和它与淋巴系统发育中的关系,以及皮肤毛发缺损在发育中的变化,进行了以下实验。

【Abstract】 Nude mouse is a mutant strain of hairless mouse with thumus dysgenesis.The thymic rudiment is present in the thymic area.In the paper reported here we have studies the development of the thymic rudiment,spleen,lymph nodes and hair follicles.The thymic rudiment was revelaed as a small alveolar gland-like structure,located near the trachea.In the early stage,this organ was a small gland-like structure;and became cystic in the elderly mouse.Within the cavity of the eyst PAS-positive material was found.Many gland-like and PAS-positive structure were also found outside the cyst.In the spleen,Malpighian body was shown 15 days after birth;the hemosiderin pigment in the red pulp could be detected after 105 days.The cortical and the medul-lar area of lymph node was in distinguishable on the first day after birth,but could be shown as outer and inner layers after 15 days.Thirty days after birth,the paracor-tieal area,the so-called thymus-dependent zone,completely lacking lymphocytes but replaced by reticular cells,was observed.The hair follicles have developed after the first day of birth,but the hairs did not cut through the epidermis because they are bent,coiled and fail to penetrate the epidermis.The hairlessness of such nude mice is actually due to abnormal keratinzation of the epidermis and the hair follicles.
