【Abstract】 From January 1964 to December 1976, 75 cases of liver abscess were admitted in our hospital,among which 29 cases were bacterial and 46 amebic. There were 6 casest(20.7%)mis-diagnosed in the former and 11 (23.9%) in the latter. Among the 17 cases, 4 were admitted as acute cholecystitis, 3 as fever of unknown origin, 4 as carcinoma of liver, 3 as pulmonary infections, 1 as acute peritonitis, 1 as anemia of unknwn orgin and 1 as subdiaphragmatic abscess. The pitfall in the diagnosis were discussed and points for special attention stressed.更多还原
