【Abstract】 More than thirty species of Asarum (family Aristolochiaceae) are indigenous to China, among which many are used in traditional and folk medicine.The volatile oil separated by steam distillation from the dried herb of Asarum heterotropoides Fr. Schmidt var. mandshuricum (Maxim.) Kitagawa known commercially as Liao xixin was analyzed and the constituents identified by GC-MS, some of the constituents were isolated by means of GC and further confirmed by IR, UV and NMR. As a result, nine of the constituents were identified The oil consists mainaly of methyleugenol, the other components in the order of relative abundance are safrole, eucarvone, β-pinene, α-pinene, elemicine, asaricin, estragole and camphene.The presence of asaricin and campbene in this plant has not been reported previously, while α-pinene and β-pinene were reported as α-or β-pinene, and estragole as borneol or estragole.更多还原
