不同育性细胞质对水稻叶片中β-淀粉酶活性及同工酶的影响
THE EFFECT OF THE CYTOPLASM WITH DIFFERENT FERTILITIES ON THE β-AMYLASE ACTIVITY AND ITS ISOZYME IN RICE LEAVES
【摘要】 <正> 对水稻雄性不育的生物化学研究,国内外已有不少报道,但一般集中在对花药(粉)的研究上。对不同育性营养体的生化特性的研究则报告甚少。Peterson等对不同育性的玉米苗期营养体的β-淀粉酶进行了研究,发现他们所研究的9个组合中,玉米保持系的β-淀粉酶有比不育系高的趋势,由此认为,β-淀粉酶可以作为苗期鉴定玉米育性的生理指标。在水稻上则有关于保持系和不育系营养体的光呼吸、RNA含量等方面的研究。但通过大量品种的研究来分析不同育性植株在营养时期的某些生化特性及其遗传控制者还不多。本工作的目的,是通过对不育系、保持系、杂种一代幼苗β-淀粉酶活性的比较,
【Abstract】 β-amylase activities and their isozymes in 12 groups of male-sterile lines of rice (belonging to the type of nucleoplasm interaction), as well as their maintainer lines and F1 hybrids are detected. It is found that the male-sterile and F1 hybrids are approximately the same in their β-amylase activities, while their enzyme activities are higher than that of their maintainer lines. This implies that male-sterile cytoplasm may influence the expression of nuclear genes which code the β-amylases.Besides, it is suggested that β-amylase may be a biochemical index of the fertility in rice plant in the early stage.
