【Abstract】 In this paper, three new species of the family Phytoseiidae collected fromNorthwest, China, are described. All the specimens are deposited in the Department of Biology, Jiangxi University. Amblyseius shukuius n. sp. （Figs. 1--6） This new species is close to Amblyseius ireeqularis Evans 1953, in thedrosal setae short, and in the ventrianal sheild with two pairs of preanalsetae and five pairs of setae on membrane surunding ventrianal shield, but itdiffers in that the nine pairs of lateral setae on dorsal shield, and the shapeof the ventrianal shield and spermatheca. Male. Not known. Holotype ?, Lanzhou, 1978. Ⅵ. 22. （Ma En-pei）, on Althaea rosea. Typhlodromus xianensis n.sp. （Figs. 7--12） This new species is similar to Typhlodromus pyri Scheuten, 1857, in theseta L₉ absent, but differs in the length of the drosal setae and shape of thespermatheca. Typhlodromus xiningensis n.sp. （Figs.13--17） Typhlodromus xiningensis closely related to T. soleiger Nesbit, 1951, inthat with two pairs of preanal setae, and the two pairs of promediolateralsatae and the one pair of postmediolateral seta, but it differs, however,from the latter in having ventrianal shield vase-shaped, with distinct waist,and shape of spermatheca.
