【Abstract】 The present paper reports two new forms of Ceratophyllidae from northestern region and three new forms of Leptopsyllidae from northwestern region of China. Unless otherwise stated, all types are deposited in the Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology, China Academy of Medical Sciences, Beijing.1.Megabothris sinensis Dou et Ji, sp. n.Diagnosis. The new species is more or less related to M, rhipisoides Li & Wang, 1964, but differs by the following characters. $ t fixed process of clasper much shorter and smaller; movable process without ventro-posterior angle, with 2 spiniform bristles near the middle portion of its posterior margin j St. Ⅷ. with 2 apical bristles and a finger-like membranous flap at apex (fig. 1) ;(?):St. Ⅶ with undulating posterior margin, there being no deep sinus (fig. 2).Types. Holotype (?), allotype (?), collected from Chai He Xian, Heilongjiang Province ex Apodemus speciosus. 1 (?) paratype from Jilin Province and deposited in the Academy of the Military Medical Sciences, Beijing.2.Megabothrig advenarius mantchuricus Dou et Ji, ssp. n.Diagnosis. Closely allied to the nominated subspecies and separable from the latter by the (?) character that its movable process especially at the base is distinctly shorter and wider (fig. 3). (?) indistinguishable from that of the nominated subspecies. Types. Holotype (?) , allotype (?) and 2 (?)(?) and 4 (?)(?) paratypes collected from Nenjiang Xian, Heilongjiang Province ex Mus musculus ssp.3.Frontopsylla frontal ix utia Ji, ssp. n.Diagnosis. The new subspecies resembles F. f. alatau Fedina, 1946, but differs from the latter by the following characters ?movable process of (?) without a dorso-anterior angle, its posterior margin slightly sinuate) fixed process of the clas-per relatively shorter and -wider (fig. 4); posterior margion of St. Ⅶ of (?) with a dorsal lobe (fig. 5)Types. Holotype (?), allotype (?) and 3(?)(?) and 4 (?)(?) paratypes collected from Wu Qia (Utia) Xian, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region ex Marmota caudata. Another pair of paratypes from the same county and the same host and 2 add itional pair of paratypes from Bang Da steppe, Zuo Gong Xian, Xizang Autonomous Region ex Ochotona daurica are deposited in the Academy of the Military Medical Sciences, Beijing.4.Frontopsylla frontal is baibacina Ji, ssp. n.Simiar to F, f. utia, but separable by the following characters, movable process of (?) rounded off at the dorso-anterior angle and with a dorso-posterior angle, below which there are about 6 bristles, of which 2 bristles are stouter; fixed process distinctly longer and slenderer, its apical bristles longer and stouter (fig. 6); posterior margin of St. Ⅶ of (?) truncate or nearly so (fig. 7).Types. Holotype (?), allotype (?) and 2 (?)(?) and 3 (?)(?) paratypes collected from Gui Nan Xian, Qinghai Province taken from a burrow of Marmota himalayana. Another 10 (?)(?) and 7 (?)(?) paratypes taken off bird nests and rodent burrows from Qinghai Province and, in addition, 3(?)(?) paratypes ex bird from Na Qu Xian, Xizang Autonomous Region are deposited in the Academy of Military Medical Sciences, Beijing.5.Amphipgylla qinghaiensis Ren et Ji, sp. n.Diagnosis. Allied to A. vinogradovi loff, 1927, but readily separable from the latter by the following characters : apex of fixed process of (?) distinctly wider; posterior margin of movable process with 2 spiniform bristles above the midpoint, apical margin of St. Ⅷslightly undulaling and with 2 groups of few small bristles which are widely apart (fig. 8). (?) inseparable from that of the allied species.Types. Holotype (?) and 2 (?)(?) paratypes collected from He Nan Monggol Qi, Qinghai Province ex Cricetulus migratorius. Several batches of 12 (?)(?) and 9 (?)(?) paratypes ex Cricetulus sp. and its burrow from Qinghai and ex Cricetlus sp,, Micratus sp. and Apodemus speciosus from Gansu Province are deposited in the Academy of the Military Medical Scienses, Beijing.更多还原
