The aging behavior of SiCp/2024Al composite and 2024Al was investigated through Brinell-Hardness test and TEM observations. The result shows that the aging peak time decreases as the aging temperature of the SiCp/2024Al composite increases, and the optimal aging temperature is 160℃.
