A novel fiber reinforced composite with natural vegetable fiber as reinforcer and benzylated wood sawdust as matrix was studied. By means of benzylation, wood sawdust were converted into thermoplastic materials and then compounded with sisal fiber. The methods improving the extent of benzylation were discussed, and the mechanical properties of the composite were also measured .The results show that the whole natural fiber composite is available.
