The chemical composition and fibre morphology parameters of Eucommia Ulmoides Oliv. were examined and it has been found that Eucommia Ulmoides Oliv. is high in cellulose and hemicellulose content and relatively low in lignin content and therefore is a desirable raw pulping material.
