The peculiarity of machinery in coal mines to a great degree results in the frequency of failures.The four kinds of maintenance on machinery and technologies of fault diagnosis adopted by coalmines at present are simply introduced.The approaches to improve the maintainability of machinery in coalmines are also discussed.
