The glede tea from the different producing areas in Enshi Autonomous Prefecture were used as the raw material and the content of lead cadmium hydrargyrum in the stem and leaf was examined with the dithizon spectrophotometry.The results were as follows: the content of lead cadmium hydrargyrum in the stem and leaf of glede tea was low,and the content in stem was higher than that in leaf slightly,but they were under the GB,so the glede tea had supernal drinking security and exploitation value.
