The phytoestrogen,derived from plants in the nature,is a kind of compounds with estrogen-like biological activities.Phytoestrogens have positive effects on dieases related to estrogen and broadly used to improve menopausic syndrome,control cardiopathy,prevent osteoporosis and tumour,Alzheimer's Disease,etc.The research advances in bioactive component and physiological function and application of Phytoestrogen were critically reviewed in this paper.
