Based on the materials on the research and application of ground source heat pump in China andabroad, the state-of-the-art of the GSHP technology are discussed in this paper. The core technologies areespecially addressed. The author also brings those factors that hinder the wider application of GSHP in Chinaforward. Finally, the prospect of the GSHP in China in the near future are estimated.
