The properties of soybean protein fiber are tested, and the comparison with cotton, wool, silk and viscose fiber is done. It is pointed out that, as a new manmade fiber, the products of soybean protein fiber should be associated with its properties and make its superiorities prominent as possible and the most rational, economical and practical scheme should also be sought out in product development.
