Flow-injection chemiluminescence (CL) for the determination of rifampicin was suggested. It was based on the CL reaction of hydrogen peroxide and rifampicin in the presence of Cu2+, as catalyst, in basic medium. The CL intensity was linear with rifampicin concentration in the range of 4 × 10-7-1×-10-4 g/mL. The relative standard deviations for 2 × 10-5 g/mL rifampicin (n =7) was 4.9%.
