The fluorescence characteristics of complexes of ofloxacin in micellar systems have been studied in details. The experiments indicate that sodium dodecyl sulfate micellar systems can enhance greatly the fluorescence signal. The pH value has an obvious effect and the maximum fluorescence signal can be obtained at pH 5.0.
