The effect of grazing intensity on vegetation character in Leymus chinensis grassland by grazing experiment was studied. The result showed that the tendency of height, density and biomass of main plant populations was different with the seasonal changes. The height of them decreased with the increase of grazing intensity. Moderate grazing intensity led the rate of grasses in community to increasing and raised the quality of herbage.
