EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON THE EFFECT OF THE METHOD OF REMOVING HEAT AND DISPERSING DAMPNESS ON THE LEVELS OF IL-1β AND NO IN ACUTE URARTHRITIS OF KNEE JOINTS IN RABBITS
为了解清热祛湿法对急性痛风性关节炎兔膝关节液白细胞介素 (IL - Iβ)和一氧化氮 (NO)水平的影响 ,探讨其治疗急性痛风性关节炎的机理 ,将 48只兔随机分为 4组 ,采用 Mc Carty DJ经典造模法向兔膝关节注入尿酸钠 (MSU)溶液 ,造成急性痛风性关节炎的病变模型 ,以清热祛湿中药与秋水仙碱对比治疗。于造模后第 2、6、9、12 h分别取材 ,采用双抗体夹心酶联免疫吸附实验(EL ISA)法 ,分别测定各组、各期兔膝关节液中 IL - 1β、NO的水平。结果显示造模组 IL - 1β、NO的水平明显高于中药组和西药组 ,有显著差异 ;空白对照组未能测出 IL- 1β、一氧化氮 ;中药组低于西药组 ,有统计学差异。表明 IL- 1β、NO在急性痛风性关节炎的发病过程中可能起重要作用。清热祛湿法中药能有效降低实验性痛风兔膝关节液 IL - 1β、NO的水平 ,其效果优于西药组。表明清热祛湿法是治疗急性痛风性关节炎有效方法

Objective: To study the effect of the method of Removing Heat and dispersing Dampness with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM ) on the levels of IL-1β and NO in acute urarthritis of knee joints in rabbits, and to prove that, as far as TCM is concerned, damp-heat stagnation is the main mechanism in acute urarthritis of knee joints.
