The damping materials of polyphenylsiloxane/polyacrylate SIN were successfully synthesized. Its widest glass transition region spans 100 ℃, and the higest value of tg δ reaches 1.0. The glass transition of the samples were examined by DMA. Polymerization kinetics for both components were traced with FT IR. The results indicate the gelation of the two components in the SIN is accelerated mutually.
