The optimal process for extracting ursolic acid from Ilex Aquijfolium L. leaf is selected by using orthogonal test. The extraction rate of ursolic acid from dry Ilex Aqujfolium L. leaf reaches 90% when the extraction is conducted twice using 85%～90% ethanol for 80min each time. The final product is obtained after washing by petroleum ether 2.5 times of the precipitated material for three times and re crystallization by ethanol.
