通过根癌农杆菌 (Agrobacteriumtumefaciens)介导 ,将水稻几丁质酶基因导入烟草 (Nicotianatabacum)栽培品种中 ,并得到转基因植株。导入的 3个基因即nptⅡ、bar和几丁质酶基因在子一代以近 3∶1的比例分离。表达水稻几丁质酶的子一代转基因烟草表现出对烟草赤星病病原真菌 (A .alternata)的抗性。

A rice chitinase gene was successfully introduced into tobacco(Nicotiana tabacum)plants by Agrobacterium tumefaciens mediated transformation.Many transgenic plants expressing the rice chitinase were obtained.The introduced nptⅡ, bar and chitinase genes segregated with 3∶1 in progeny T 1 of transgenic tobacco plants.T 1 plants expressing chitinase were resistant to the infection of fungal pathogen A.alternata.
