Objective: To investigate the content variety of 3 kinds of tanshinone among intraspecies of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge. Methods: HPLC method was applied to measure the liposoluble contents of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge. Results: The contents of tanshinone ⅡA, cryptotanshinone and tanshinone Ⅰ ranged from 0.10% 0.40%, 0.04% 0.46% and 0.03% 0.15%, respectively.
