Hardy early－maturing variety of Pear18（3－21－18）was a promising disease resistant ，high yield，high quality variety selected by Institute of Pomology，Jilin Academy of Agricultural Scince．However，the variety was strict with the pollinating variety．Da pear，Pingxiang pear were comparatively ideal pollinizer．Good strains of 23－271，11－17selected by our institute in recent years were tested to be the best of all by repeat screen．
