MAP30, extiacted from Momordica charantia(known as bitter melon) was paid more attention in the recent years. In this review we summarize the research works on the purification of MAP30 and its structure, elucidate its effect on anti virus in three aspects, RNA N glycosidase, inactivity ability of DNA topology and inhibition of HIV 1 integrase.
