Whisker exhibits excellent thermostability, outstanding dimensional stability as one kind of high performance reinforcer.We blended the whisker with polyimide resin for making the composites. Compared thier properties with other polyimide composites filled with glass fiber powder, polytetrafluoroethylene and graphite, their mechanical properties at high temperature have the obvious superiority.
