L:Current STPP substitutes and development are introduced in this paper.In the view of market,sodium triplay-phosphate(STPP),zeolite A and sodium carbonate(Na2CO3)are still the most used builders in the world.A new and different STPP substitutes is δ-dilicate,lrystalline-layered sodium silicates such as SKS-6 have considerable future potential.However,the production process of δ-dislicate is more expensive than STPP and zeolite now.
