The in the nutritive composition of pumpkin fruit of twelve varieties (strain or F1progeny) was determined experiment. The results showed that pumpkin fruits contain morecarbohydrate, carotenoid and vitamin C, and nutritive compositions are more different in differentvarieties. Carotenoid and vitamin C in fruits are positive interrelation (r=0.785). Contrast of twoF, progeny with their parents show that content of carotenoid in the fruits of F1 proqeny is dependent on their parents.
