The photocatalytic performance of titania supported on hexagonal mesoporous silica (HMS) and zeolite Y (NaY) for degradation of 2,4,6 trichlorophenol (TCP) was investigated. It was found that the photocatalytic activity of TiO 2/HMS was higher than that of TiO 2 powder itself and TiO 2/NaY.
