The impact of ammonium phosphate treatment on burning behavior,bonding strength,and hygroscopicity of plywood(E.urophylla) was studied by impregnating veneers with monoammonium phosphate(MAP) solution and pressing the treated veneers to plywood in a routine manufacturing process.The results showed that the total heat release(THR) and total smoke production(TSP) during 8 minutes of MAP treated plywood decreased by 37.1% and 83.3% respectively as compared to untreated plywood.And the bonding strength decrease...
