The isothermal crystallization kinetics of ultra- high molecular weight polyethylene(UHMWPE) in liquid paraffin was studied by differential scanning calorimeter(DSC).The data was analyzed by the Avrami equation and the result indicated that the crystal course of UHMWPE tends to be three dimensional growth of heterophase which was consistent with the result of polarizing microscope.Meanwhile,the crystallization rate constant K decreased and crystallization half—time t_(1/2) increased with the enhancement of ...
