Basing on the archaeological achievements of Xinjiang Niya site,this paper discusses the ancient setdement of Niya site in several aspects,such as the ancient village shape,the folk house form,the layout characters,and the construction and decoration techniques.Compared with the existent Hetian traditional folk houses,the similarities and differences between them are analyzed.Then the conclusion can be made as follows;the Hetian traditional folk houses inherit a good many characters of the ancient setdement...
