The selectional procedure for Chinese fir(Cunninghamia lanceolata) was described in this paper,and its advantage and weakness were compared with seed orchard and traditional clonal breeding.It was demonsrated that the clonal selection is presently the more efficient strategy for Chinese fir clonal application.
