The copper matrix composites reinforced by SiC_p with various sizes of about 2 μm,10 μm,21 μm and 38 μm, respectively were fabricated via powder metallurgy technique.The effect of various sizes reinforced particles on the fracture mechanism,friction and wear behavior of Cu/SiC_p composites were investigated.The results indicate that under the same preparing parameters,the composites with SiC_p 10 μm in size possess the highest ultimate tensile strength of beyond 265.7 MPa,and their breakage is due to tearin...
