Ship detection in a median-low resolution optical image of sea-region is discussed in this paper.A new method is proposed.At first,the method detects potential target with improved two-parameter CFAR(Constant False Alarm Rate) and Extend Fractal-based technique separately,then the two detected results are synthesized to eliminate false alarms.At last,the potential targets of detected are differentiated by shape feature.Experiment results show that most of ship targets can be detected at a low rate of false ...
