Objective: To determine rutin, quercertin and 1-DNJ, which were active constituents in Mulberry Morus by HPLC. Method: Rutin and quercertin were extracted with 85% ethanol from mulberry Morus by ultrasonic-assisted extraction technology. 1-DNJ was extracted with 0.05 mol/L HCl, and derivatized by FMOC-Cl in pH 8.5 borate buffer solution to become DNJ-FMOC, which can be detected by ultraviolet.
