The technique of molecular markers,as a new type of molecular biological technique,was applied widely in gene taging、genetic variations、the identification of species and genetic evolution of relations, and other related fields. The article described the main types of molecular markers, principles, characteristics and research progress in the identification of plant quarantine nematodes. Moreover, the shortcomings of the molecular markers and their future prospects were analyzed.
