AIM: To study the effects of carbopol gel in different concentration on the permeation of ibuprofen through skin in vitro. METHODS: Using improved Franz type diffusion cell and excised rat skin in vitro as transdermal barrier, the concentration of ibuprofen in samples was determined by UV method.
