The advances of the research about Allium mongolicum Regel. are reviewed in this paper, including taxonomy、 distribution、 nutrition value、 medical value、 feeding value、 techniques for artificial domesticating cultivation and status of development and utilization . Through analyzing the existing problems of research and utilization realities, the appropriate countermeasures are given to solve the problems of weakly research and destrious exploitation.
