Aeluropus littoralis is a member of perennial cluster grass in Aeluropus of Gramineae which is resistent to salt, alkali and drought, with potently asexual propagation, and with high feeding value. It is a kind of perfect grass for constructing cultivated grassland and ameliorating saline-alkali soil. Our studies make a quantitative analysis about the growth dynamics of A. littoralis and its mechanism and reinforce our understanding about the theory of plant growth strategy.
