绿天牛族Callichromini Thomson 1864是鞘翅目(Coleoptera)天牛科(Cerambycidae)天牛亚科(Cerambycinae)中比较重要的类群，该族昆虫绝大多数以柑橘、桃、芒果、榆、杨、栎、花椒等经济性树种为食，严重危害农林业经济树种。本文将传统的外部形态特征分类同后翅翅脉特征和雌雄性生殖器特征结合起来，对我国绿天牛族昆虫进行了初步的分类研究。针对中国绿天牛族研究现状中的空白，对该族昆虫地理区系组成进行了研究，主要研究结果如下：
1.外部形态特征研究
系统整理了中国绿天牛族13属98种8亚种，详细描述了69种6亚种外部形态特征，新增加37种绿天牛的分类历史资料和19种绿天牛的形态描述原始资料；并发现一中国新记录种绒斑长绿天牛Chloridolum plicovelutinum Gressitt et Rondon；编制了中国绿天牛族分属检索表和11个属的分种检索表。
