The paper summarized research progress on plant somatic
embryogenesis ,studied the cultural conditions and influence factors in the process of
Citrullus lanatus somatic embryogenesis, mainly put up it’s cytologyical observa-
tions .Finding out the most suitable conditions for somatic embryo induction, these
