'Fuji' apples treated with O.Sul.U1 of 1-methylcyclopropene (1-MCP) for 24h after harvest were stored in room storage, cold storage and controlled atmosphere (CA) storage, respectively, and the effects of 1-MCP on C2H4 production, internal CaR* concentration, flesh firmness, titratable acid, total soluble solids , as well as the changes in proteins were studied during storage and the subsequent shelf times.
