Five local varieties of arbutus from yuyao city Zhejiang province was selected as raw material in this study to investigate the primary physicochemical index, and the antioxidant activity of them.
The content of total anthocyanin(TAcy), total flavonoids (TF) and total phenols(TP) of arbutus juices were measured by spectrophotometry. Obvious difference was found in these arbutus: biqi has the highest content at 7.84mg/100ml TAcy, andfenhong has the lowest content at 2.12mg/100ml TAcy ....
