The advances in selective breeding,crossbreeding,induced mutation breeding,protoplast fusion breeding and gene engineering breeding were summarized,moreover,the application of breeding methods was prospected,it pointed out that with the rapid development of molecular biology,traditional breeding methods,such as crossbreeding,together with DNA molecular marker assistant selection are main development trend for edible fungi breeding in the future.
