Water source area is important in supplying water,influencing water security of both urban and rural residents.But the protection of water sources,to a certain extent,has undermined the development of rural economy.Based on the investigation of Songhuaba water source area,the author analyzes how to develop new socialist countryside through enhancing low carbon economy,which can both protect environment and promote the development of agriculture,rural areas and affluent farmers.
