Investigations were made on mammals in Maanshan Nature Reserve from July to August in 2008,on the foundation of the mornitoring data of mammals in the reserve from 2006 to 2008.It showed that there were 55 species of mammals belonging to 43 families and 6 orders in the Reserve,of which 44 species were the Oriental realm conponents,6 species were the Palaearctic realm component,and 5 species were widespread components.In total,13 species in the reserve were identified as Nationally Key Protected mammals,and ...
