Karhunen-Loeve series based on Monte-Carlo finite element method(KLSMCFEM)are proposed in engineering structures stochastic analysis.The random field is developed by orthogonal Karhunen-Loeve series.It maintains higher accuracy than the traditional Monte-Carlo finite element method(MCFEM),and keeps the unknowns in a reasonable amount,by overcoming the disadvantage of the MCFEM that the random variables increase when refining the random field of interest.The study shows that the KLSMCFEM can satisfy 5 terms ...
