Ginkgo biloba L.is a special economic tree species to China.It has many active constituents which are widely used in medicinal and health products.A series of researches on Ginko biloba L.are comprehensively expounded,including such aspects as its distribution,chemical composition,biological activity and medicinal application.Moreover,some problems and their solutions are also put forward in this paper.
