With the development of the measurement technology and the computer technology,it is a hotspot to dual with the product modeling,emulation,simulation,optimization and exploitation based on the reverse engineering technology.This paper outlines the basic concept of reverse engineering,the surface digital technology,the measured data processing technology and the reconstruction of model,and analyzes the developing trends of reverse engineering technique.
