Man-nature relationship is a central problem of geographical study,and also a new growing point of intersection of current natural sciences and social sciences.Under the background of human activity and global change,the research on traditional geographical processes is undergoing fundamental change over the past few decades.More attentions should be paid to the interdisciplinary research.Land use/cover change has fundamental significance in China today.
